Many kept horses today have lost their natural outlets to scratch due to lack of trees. This scratcher is a flexible, texturized panel made of a durable polyethylene material, not rubber, so the product will not pull your horse’s hair. It allows horses to safely scratch promoting circulation and a feeling of well-being. Use this scratcher indoors or outdoors. Maintenance free!

Concept is great but these broke in less than 3 weeks. If your horse is a heavy scratcher I do not recommend these for corners, flat is great but the corners that I mounted cracked and then were not safe to have mounted because of the sharp edges.

We had a problem with the corners of our workshop/barn, no trees, so the horses found it convenient to use the corners of our building and were totally denting the metal siding. We installed these scratchers and POOF the problem was gone. The horses LOVED the scratchers. They don’t look too bad either, better than the dents we had for sure, was also worried they’d pull up the metal siding and cut themselves. I’m thrilled with this product.
