Avalanche Lightweight Ripstop Turnout. The ideal light weight turnout with more protection offered by the high neck coverage. Designed for superior fit with high quality and construction, the Avalanche is sure to keep your horse dry and happy.
Waterproof and breathable, the 600 Denier ripstop polyester fabric with taped seams offers a higher neck for protection against the elements and cold winter drafts keeping your horse happy!
Polyester lining gives a soft, non-chafing layer of protection inside the blanket. This lining reduces shoulder rubs and irritation.
The Avalanche Turnout provides everything you need to make certain your horse is safe and comfortable. Cupped shoulder darts perform in conjunction with the forward gusset releasing pressure on the shoulders and allowing freedom of movement. An embroidered 'Z' on the bottom corner is enhanced with color matching piping and accents.
High Neck design offers better protection from the elements and helps reduce blanket pressure on the withers. Quick-clip front closures with snap hooks are easily adjustable . Forward gusset relieves pressure on the shoulders. Tail flap provides additional protection from the elements. Elastic at the end of cross surcingles Two low-cross surcingles keep the blanket secure on your horse Detachable, elastic leg straps.

Measuring For a Horse Blanket
Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.
Measure from the center of your horse's chest around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring tape.
This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
