Happy, but not WOWed

I have a pair of these in extra large for my 17.2 hh westphalian-dutch warmblood cross. Absolutely my favorite bonnet (AND HIS!!). I was expecting the same wow factor from these, but they are really stiff and almost a little small for my 16hh oldenburg mare. Still like them, and hopefully will like them more when they've gone through the wash a few times and soften.
