Exciting new studies have shown that flying pests such as horseflies are not attracted to the zebra pattern. The way the light reflects off the black while not reflecting off the white confuses the flying pests and they choose to attack another animal instead.
Lightweight zebra print mesh allows for good air flow, while keeping flys out and for protecting wounds. They are constructed with a nylon edging and fleece to help with comfort and to help prevent from rubbing and abrasion. These boots are also a great protection from UV rays on white legged horses. These boots are complete with 3 strap durable velcro closures.
