Middle Weight Turnout!

A great middle weight turnout blanket at a great price. Waterproof and breathable. Made for the active horse, featuring a generous shoulder gusset to accommodate greater movement of the shoulder and front leg.

Constructed with specially coated 600 denier rip stop nylon. Breathable, yet waterproof. Seamless, one piece over the back construction eliminates spine leakage. Rip stop outer shell with warm polyfill insulation and a comfortable, rip stop satin nylon lining. The soft nylon shoulder and skirt prevents rubbing. Fleece-lined withers, two buckle front, and adjustable leg straps - this blanket will stay in place! Insulated tail piece.

I bought these blankets because our older blankets have finally met their end. It has been raining almost non stop for a week and my horses are dry and cozy. The packaging was not the beet, but once I opened it I realized it was because they used a bigger box, so they smashed it down and taped it shut, it had looked like it had been opened when I first saw it, but I don’t think it had. The blankets seem to be good quality and so far are doing well, even with the weather being what it is. Thank you Chicks Saddlery!

I bought one of these for this great price several years ago. It lasted through two of my yearlings and remained waterproof. I live near the border of WA/BC and we get the monsoons and wind regularly. I like the hardware and fabric held up well over 5 yrs.

Measuring For a Horse Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
