1200 Denier Waterproof And Breathable Natural Regulating Neck Cover
Product Details
Helps Prevent Overheating Or Chilling!
This neck cover features a 1200 Denier, waterproof and breathable ripstop outer shell. Your horse can effectively regulate its own body temperature preventing overheating and chills caused by fluctuating weather conditions. It lifts the cover 1/2" up off the body, allowing the hair follicles to function naturally with flexible insulators that keep the blanket raised slightly up off the coat.
Traditional blankets and neck covers flatten hair follicles. When a horse's coat is continually flattened with long term blanketing the horse loses its natural ability to keep warm by raising and lowering its hair follicles. The horse also can no longer wick moisture up off its skin and loses its ability to lift sweat and condensation, leading to overheating and skin conditions in warmer weather.
