This is a very nice looking, decent quality dog coat. The inside layer is soft fleece. The exterior is a bit stiff, almost plastic-like feeling, but the dog doesn’t feel this against the skin and I imagine it helps deflect water. It goes on and off easy. It’s not super warm for winter because there is a lot of exposed skin, but it’s an excellent choice for damp spring and fall weather — or for a heavier furred dog in winter.

Bought this for a friend's dog whom we dog sit frequently. We live in AK and it's often cold and windy throughout the winter. Size was exactly right (glad we measured) and it should keep him warm everyday, when we go walking
