Just what I expected. Although my gelding ripped the velcro straps right off of it, It really does work and do what it's supposed to do. He is just rough on all things LOL.... a little sewing job and it will be good as new LOL.

I bought this for one of my horses that is constantly coming in covered in burrs. She has a long mane and it is time consuming to get them out. This seemed like the perfect solution. It worked for a week or so, then the stiffness wore off and it would fold down to her ears when she was eating (which, as with any horse, is pretty much all of the time). It's a great concept, but eventually stopped working for what I needed. But with the sliding forward, it did not cover her mane or neck, so wouldn't have been usable for just a fly cover either.
