I like natural sponges for bathing horses but they are harder to find. The Martha Stewart natural sponges are a very good price from Chick's on sale, so I bought 3. They are good quality though really too small for body washing a horse. They will work great for washing heads, wiping out nostrils &ears, leg details, and they'll do nicely for tack cleaning. To clean natural sponges just put them in a pan of boiling water with vinegar, squeeze out the water and let dry. I have a few that I've used for years, but sooner or later they need to be replaced. Now I'm looking for big natural sponges again. Wish me luck! 🤞🍀

This sponge works perfect for bathing my horse. However, It did come apart and is now in two halves and that was upon the first use.

This is a Martha Stewart painting sponge ,and is labelled as such. It is flat on one side. At its widest parts it is 5'x5' but it is more triangular than square. And it is not labeled as natural sponge. It is a good price but is not as pictured.
