Neoprene-Lined Free to Breathe Grazing Muzzle Halter Set

My 18 year old Arab, Monty, has been getting a little chubby as he ages. I thought a grazing muzzle would be a great birthday gift. He must’ve caught wind of what he was getting, because it was sent to the wrong post office delaying it’s arrival by a few days. He got to test it out right away when it arrived. Monty may disagree with me, but it was a great fit for his fine, chiseled Arab head. There was no rubbing points around his muzzle or ears. It was super easy to adjust even when he was trying to figure out what the heck I put on him. It was a learning curve for Monty to learn how to eat with it on but that was purely his stubbornness and pouty mood. With all of yelling at me, trotting around (he doesn’t care to get anywhere too fast), rubbing and lots of pouty, it stayed in place and never came off. I definitely would recommend for all of the chubby horses out there! Oh, and Monty did adjust after the first day and even willingly put the grazing muzzle the next day.

I've never used a grazing muzzle before, but needed a creative way to keep them from gorging themselves at a cabin we trail ride at in the spring. These fit the horses well, they could still graze, just at a slower rate. Neither horse was uncomfortable and neither tried to remove the muzzle. Both ate and drank well with them on.

After adjusting correctly on my Haflinger he stopped getting it off. About a week and a half of use the bottom broke off. I have another one of this to use hopefully this one will not break. It workes very well and was easy to put on as well.
