LOVE these halters! Is it the best quality leather? No. But after soaking it in oil they really are amazing halters for the price! I have some from years ago that still work perfectly, the only thing is the brass plate is a bit cloudy and scratched after all the rough years they've seen, but still readable. I love them for around the barn, much safer than nylon and the fact you also get a name plate makes them even better!

These are my favorite halters. They look great, wonderful nameplate, aren't expensive, solid construction yet break away when my young and silly horses are extra.... 100% recommend. Black is nice and Brown is great. Haven't tried the Tan yet, maybe next time.

Though I always use a string halter while riding, I live in the fire zone of northern CA, and we have to be prepared for sudden evacuations. Leather is recommended over meltable nylon. I'm very happy with the quality and legibility. I pray I'll never have to use these handsome halters in a fire emergency.

The halter in made of substantial leather and looks nice with the triple stitching. I was worried the nameplate would be too blingy., but turns out it’s classy and understated. The horse size fit my Arab with the adjustments. It looks beautiful on him and I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. This would make a very nice gift for any horse lover.
