Rugged Ride Soft Mesh Fly Sheet is a simple, protective fly sheet that gives protection from biting flies to keep your horse calm and relaxed during turnout, in the stable, or on the showgrounds. Low cross surcingle and double buckle front, tail strap and adjustable elastic leg straps keep the sheet from shifting. Nylon lining at the front shoulder area helps reduce chafing and rubbing.

These sheets have velcro at the front straps, bound edges, and stretchy leg straps. They do fit snugly as another reviewer mentioned. I might add that the rear hook for the leg straps seems a little high but doesn't bother my horses. The sheets are lightweight, and most dirt from rolling shakes out. I have not yet washed one.

Measuring For a Horse Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
