I'v bought many different hay bags and nets, and this is the easiest to fill of them all. I leave one strap fastened to the stall, drop the other, and the bag opens wide enough to add a flake or two with no problem, then re-fasten the second strap. Hay bag filled quickly, much appreciated when it's freezing weather! This bag holds an enormous amount, too. One star off because hay does fall out through the bottom openings, so I added a layer made from feed bags inside to help keep hay off the stall floor.

I bought 4 of these 19 yeas ago and they are used daily in the horse's stalls,hung on the side of the trailer and when we go to shows. They stand up to aggressive eaters very well. I've only had to change 3 snaps in all that time. Recently they went on sale so I bought 2 more for overnight shows and clinics. Don't waste your money on any other hay bags,these are the best!

Just bought two more for my daughter as gift, so I don't have to go looking for mine. We love these bags when we go camping. Easy to load, easy to hang and we love the bottom strap to secure bag to post of the picket line. We have almost completely replace all the old rope bags for anyone in our group for camper and trail riders.

My horse inhales his food like a vacuum cleaner and he struggles with smaller hole slow feeders so my search for a 2 inch hole slow feeder was a bit of a challenge, until I landed on Chick's. The additional beauty to this hay net (yes, it's pretty) is the ease of loading hay into a square bag instead of a regular hay net. I zipped tied the bag to the corner side of his stall so after hay is inserted, I just clip it together. The 3 clips on the bag really help too. He eats from it just fine. I am SO THRILLED to have found this.

Good size, tough and easy to fill. We have these for most of our horses.

No tooth damage. Almost zero wasted hay. No ulcers, because the horses can get plenty of hay out of these hay bags. And they really take a beating! Occasionally one of my horses will break a snap on a hanging strap, and mash these hay bags into the mud. The stallions will spend all night playing hard with them, in their pastures, if they manage to get one down, by breaking a snap. But the snaps are super easy to change, and I just hose the mud off the hay bag, and throw it in the washing machine. All 9 hay bags I have bought, are still going strong, after 2 years of heavy pasture use. I just bought more for some new horses. And will continue using these forever!

Great hay bag. Holds up well to a horse that enjoys beating up her hay nets as if they were her punching bags. Holds a few flakes which is perfect and easy to fill.

I love this hay bag! So much easier to use than the web hay bags that need two people to fill. Made well and has held up with my horse pulling to get hay out. I love that it offers hay on all sides. Hanging apparatus works well inside or out of the stall.

I purchased 6 of these bags and have used them daily for over 2 years with only one minor blow out...I can continue using the bag, however. Just bought 2 more when on sale even though my others are still quite usable! . I love them that much!
