The blanket seems well made, and will do the job, as my dog goes in and out, and won't be living in it. I would suggest going up, if you are even close to the upper end of the chart.

The quality of this blanket is incredible. We have a pitbull mastiff mix and she's over 100 lbs of pure joy. It's been so hard to find anything that would fit her. Even the 3x sweaters from other sites weren't big enough to handle Emma's barrel chest and long back. I used to ride horses and kept thinking that what she really needed was a horse blanket. I think I could have gone with a 2x but this blanket provides a lot of room for adjustment with 2 chest buckles, a very generous velcro belly strap, and leg straps which we didn't use.
