Classic Waterproof Riding Jacket!
Resistance Brand Waterproof Oilskin Duster. This slicker features rugged cotton oilskin fabric that is waterproof and perfect for harsh weather conditions. Patterned in the classic Duster style of the West that is great for riding, ranch work, and more!
This waterproof rain coat features stay-put leg straps on the inside that keep your legs protected from weather and traditionally styled front-to-back cape, snap front closure with snap-over storm flap. It has a plaid cotton inner lining at the upper half of the jacket interior. Over-sized top entry patch pockets and adjustable snap cuffs. Rear snap gusset allows for coverage over the back of the saddle.
Care and Cleaning: As with all oilskin products, DO NOT machine wash! Do not use detergents or soaps as this will destroy the oil/wax waterproofing. Brush off excess dirt or mud. Hand wash in cold water only. Hang to dry in well ventilated area. DO NOT hang in direct sunlight. Do not place in dryer or apply heat in any form. Commercial cleaning agents can be used that are specifically for Oilskin products, but may require re-proofing the coat after it has been cleaned.
When not in use, store (dry)coat by rolling it up. Do not store it away in direct sunlight.

This duster arrived well packaged and faster than expected. It is of a hefty construction and should last me a long, long time. Contrary to what some other reviewers said my duster did not have a bad smell nor did it stain any of the other clothes that I hung it next to.

Bought these for use on a pack trip last year and love them. Authentic, comfortable and a good weight to be able to put over a jacket or just by its self. Keeps you dry, Easily rolls up to be tied behind the saddle. My husband felt his was a little long/big but I had an original years ago and in a lot of rain it seems to be the right size for keeping you dry while riding. Great price too

I'm 5'8" 220lbs. I first ordered the brown duster size Large. Perfect size and length. Enough room to wear 2-3 layers of clothing underneath. Loved it so much that I ordered myself another one but this time in black size Large but when i recieved it by mail, they sent me a size XL by mistake. I didn't call to let them know that I was sent a wrong size. I sure was glad I kept it. The XL allowed me to wear more layers of clothing underneath and it kept me warm when temperatures dropped to the high 20's and low 30's

I loved mine so much I bought my husband one. I use mine for grooming my horse and throwing hay it keeps my clothes clean from dust and dander. Great for feeding in stormy weather. Rain sleet or snow, frigid temperatures and gusty wind is when I wear this coat on my 2 mile walk and it always keeps me comfortable. I LOVE this coat. A four season coat.

To start, I am a 5'7" stocky male. I couldn't decide between a medium and a large. Thankfully I picked a large and it fits perfect. Snug, but can fit a flannel or sweatshirt under it.
The duster is fairly thin, and basic quality. Decent but not great. All in all it is well worth $70 but I would be disappointed had I paid much more. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bottom snap will not stay closed. Hopefully I won't have issues with any others.

I needed new rain gear and frankly, I was tired of the yellow coat sort that made me look like a duckling or something - the same thing I'd been wearing since grade school!
This thing fit the bill perfectly, with a full cover and a good fit - thanks to another reviewer's advice to order a size up! Warm, heavy good looking, right price-it's nearly perfect!
Wait, "nearly?" Yeah, a coupla things you should know:
*Order a size larger.
*It's not vented, so you're gonna be warm.
*Funky new jacket smell that will hopefully air out.

It is the perfect rain overcoat in the cooler and winter temperatures. Plenty of room to add layers underneath and feel like you can still move. The length is long which is what I wanted! I am tried of getting wet legs from other raincoats. The sizing is unisex; I purchased medium for "my man" and medium for me; we are both slender and about 5'10". They fit as expected; slightly long in arms and legs which is what I wanted. Very pleased!! Just wish it had a detachable hood for me.

Excellent construction, comfortable albeit snug fit, (runs small to size). I run a working ranch, in all weather, and while riding fence on a four wheeler, this duster is perfect for wet blowing days. Only reason not a five star rating is because of the previously mentioned sizing.

I couldn’t wait for the rain do I could try it out. It offers good protection . I bought a med -I’m 5’3, 130 lbs. the sleeves are a little long and I probably could get away with a small , but I went a size up to fit winter clothes underneath. Well worth the price. No problems with the finish and I personally like the smell of the oil.

Have always wanted a Duster. Came across this one on a google search. It was on sale and I figured what the heck and bought one after reading the positive reviews. I am extremely happy that I purchased one. It's WELL MADE and should give me years of service. Mine didn't have a oily smell nor is it sticky. Great Product/Great Price!

It is called oilskin for good reason. It is oily, and smells of diesel or drain oil, but that's OK (maybe a guy thing). When I handle it, my fingers are oily. When I put the duster in my car, I laid it on a sheet of corrugated cardboard. The duster left oil stains on the cardboard. You wouldn't want to hang this in the closet touching other clothes, or wear it driving your car. I suppose as it ages the oiI on the surface of the fabric will diminish. I like how it covers me below the calves when I am in the rain tending to horses. I am 6'1 and thin. I wear a 40 Long suit. I bought the medium size, and it is a perfect fit. This is a working ranch duster, not fashion wear. Stay dry, and enjoy!
