Classic Waterproof Riding Jacket!
Resistance Brand Waterproof Oilskin Duster. This slicker features rugged cotton oilskin fabric that is waterproof and perfect for harsh weather conditions. Patterned in the classic Duster style of the West that is great for riding, ranch work, and more!
This waterproof rain coat features stay-put leg straps on the inside that keep your legs protected from weather and traditionally styled front-to-back cape, snap front closure with snap-over storm flap. It has a plaid cotton inner lining at the upper half of the jacket interior. Over-sized top entry patch pockets and adjustable snap cuffs. Rear snap gusset allows for coverage over the back of the saddle.
Care and Cleaning: As with all oilskin products, DO NOT machine wash! Do not use detergents or soaps as this will destroy the oil/wax waterproofing. Brush off excess dirt or mud. Hand wash in cold water only. Hang to dry in well ventilated area. DO NOT hang in direct sunlight. Do not place in dryer or apply heat in any form. Commercial cleaning agents can be used that are specifically for Oilskin products, but may require re-proofing the coat after it has been cleaned.
When not in use, store (dry)coat by rolling it up. Do not store it away in direct sunlight.

I bought a duster 28 years ago. It's a little snug now. I thought I'd try to find a replacement. My family said the one I just got from Chick's looks real sharp. And for the price, it makes you feel pretty smart. We're calling it my Father's Day gift. I'm 5'10" and 220. A large fits me right.

Very nice but it is so oily/greasey that I can't wear it yet. I've hung it outside (in the shade) and have let the huge amount of rain we've been getting do the work. I'm also spraying it with a water hose. It sill leaves stains on anything it touches but it is getting better. I might try the hair dryer treatment next. Just the nature of the beast.

Great quality at great price. The only problem I had was getting the right size for me. I’m a 5’’1” woman. I bought a large first it was really big. Then I bought a medium. It’s much better. Still a little long in the sleeves but workable. I really really like it. Can’t wait to wear it.

I almost didn't purchase this duster b/c I figured it wouldn't be worth it. But, after reading the great reviews I decided I would try it. After all, it wasn't very pricey and I figured, I wouldn't have much to lose.
Well, I can tell you, I am very surprised with the quality of the coat. It is very much a nice wear. I am very impressed with the awesome quality. Keep in mind, it is a heavy coat and more used for the cold days.
I absolutely love it...!!! I'm very happy I decided to get it. You can't go wrong for the buck, either.

Great valve. Really good quality. I ordered a large. But it was too big. I had a friend who liked it and bought it from me. I’m a 5’1” 158# women. It’s difficult to get the right size in men’s outfits. I’ve order a medium.

Based on other people's reviews, I ordered a medium. My husband has a leather duster in a small and it's a little tight to wear a sweater under and I wanted something I could layer up underneath. At 5'1" 175lbs, a small probably would have been just fine. It's really long (to my ankles) and the sleeves are long, but the snaps that tighten make them perfect. It is exactly the weight I was looking for and will be going on my long-distance rides with me in the fall. On the super plus side, it also fits my husband (5'11, 160 lbs) so we can swap back and forth as needed. It didn't take long for the oil smell to dissipate after hanging it up. I really like it and it will get used plenty, but I could have gone with a small and been just as pleased. It's very well made and in the warm rain, I will be able to wear it with a tank top under because of the soft lining.
