This is such a nice halter. I recently became the owner of a double registered palomino paint who was in need of a new halter. I found this one and it checked off everything I was looking for and the name plate was the icing on the cake. Soft supple triple stitched leather is definitely what any horse owner should want on their horses.

Great halter. Sturdy leather with as easy to read brass name plate. I ordered one for my husband after getting his first horse. The smile on his face when he sees it makes it well worth every penny.

I got one for my horse when i started boarding my horse at college and now i have bought one for all of our horses. They are very good quality though the hardware and nameplate get scratches fairly easily if the halters are used for daily turnout. The halters hold up extremely well. We use ours daily and clean them weekly and the first one we got is over 5 years old and still doing amazing.

I bought this halter last year as a memorial for our horse that passed. I had his registered name on the first line, nickname on the second and his birth/death dates on the last line. The halter and engraving turned out BEAUTIFUL. We actually used the halter as a flower pot holder and it is just stunning. I wish I could include a picture! Highly recommend!

The name plate comes covered to avoid scratches in shipping. The halter is a little stiff but should soften with conditioning and use. My daughter loves it!

Excellent item! I've purchased about 8 of these halters over the past 3 years for several impt reasons. 1. Good quality, heavy leather with strong stitches that does soften perfectly. 2. They will break away which prevents harm. Also love the nameplate, simple yet classic. Best halters ever, will keep coming back!!!

I purchased the black halter, and it is very nice - esp for the price. It comes stiff, but i'm sure after i do the first cleaning with some oil, it will soften nicely. the engraving is done well also. i would definitely purchase again!

It's a decent leather halter, and with the nameplate option makes it worth the money. I got this halter on sale-$26 with nameplate.
At full price it's still a good deal but I would wait for a sale. Leather is stiff, and not of the greatest quality. Then again, I wouldn't spend the money on a very nice one given that my horse likes to chew on leather....

I was honestly a little worried about the quality of this halter but ordered one anyway. The sale was a bargain and being able to have my horses name on it was what sweetened the deal for me. I was pleasantly surprised when the halter came. It has nice hardware and is adjustable on the nose and crown which is nice as my mare has a large head. Thanks for offering such a quality halter at a nice price!
