I love these for my warm blood, really cuts down on stopping. I bought back ones too. They stay up and don’t sage.

Bought these fly boots last year when my gelding sliced his heel bad on a trail ride. Two surgeries, cast, stitches and months of healing. I didn't want to add chemicals or pyrethrins to the healing, draining wound but needed to keep the voracious flies off. I did a lot of research and was glad I settled on these. Koal is an expert at disassembling things and removing "horse clothing." He manages to loose his fly masks without wrecking them. Double velcro is no match for him. I am always walking around the pasture in search of his masks. Amazingly these stayed on and didn't rotate or rub heels. He only got one off once. He had to wear them every day for over a month and they held up great. I washed them in the clothes washer with just 20 Mule Team borax and no soap which is a trick I learned from an old cowboy outfitter I worked for years ago. It cleans but doesn't leave residue or irritate. We used to wash all the saddle blankets we used under the pads for the trail horses in an old wringer washer while the groups were out on the mountain trails and hung them on the rails of the shed where the old grain wagon was to dry. The Cashel fly boots are still in great shape and I would buy them again if they ever wear out.
