For Ulcered Horses!

Gastric ulcers affect up to 90% of racehorses and 60% of show horses.

Gastro Gold III is the ultimate in equine Gastric Ulcer Care! Gastro Gold III was created by Horsemen for Horsemen. A highly effective inhibitor of acid secretion in horses, creating a favorable environment to prevent Ulcers and reoccurrence. The horses' stomach contains two different types of lining-the squamous mucosa on the top half and glandular mucosa on the bottom. Most equine gastric ulcers affect the squamous mucosa due to excess acid exposure, disturbances of mucosal blood flow, and motility disorders.

Many equines with ulceration are asymptomatic. In symptomatic equines, signs included diarrhea, poor growth, abdominal pain, salivation, bruxism, poor quality hair coat, poor performance and decreased consumption of concentrates. Ulcers are painful and will disrupt an equines performance and daily life and not to mention your life. When your horse is distressed so are you! 4.25 g of Omeprazole, L-Glutamine, Sodium Acid Carbonate, molasses flavoring.

2-doses per tube.
