Horses Like It - Insects Won't!

Herbal Fly Collar For Horses. A natural way to give your horse significant relief from warm-weather pests. Comfortable secured, it keeps releasing its natural aroma, even when wet, for at least 3 weeks. A pleasurable alternative to irritating short-lived sprays and other topical applications. By Alzoo Equine.

Over time, the active ingredients migrate over the animal's body, forming an evaporative 'halo' of protection around the horse and rider. Active ingredients include Melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil, lavandin oil, and geraniol. All are natural herbal essential oils.

A unique fly control device. Effective against flies, mosquitos, horseflies, gadflies, and midges.

I love these Herbal Fly Collars. It was so hot this summer and I didn’t want to put fly masks on my horses. I gave these a try and have not had to use fly masks since. They work for 3 week and then need to be replaced. Chicks has the best price on them

It helps but not a whole lot and especially if you have any itchy horse that rubs its neck a lot. It stayed on for 2 days before he got it off. That's the max I've been able to keep it on him tho when it's on, it seems to keep most of the bugs away from his face but not legs, back & belly.

one of my horses is allergic to commercial spays and they all hate fly sheets and masks ... so I tried these and they really help! Just put them on loosely, but not too loosely ... lol! I think they are GREAT! That is why I am buying in advance of next season ... they are well sealed so should keep!

This is an answer to a difficult problem to solve. My horses blue eye attracts flies, consequently becoming infected. This product is an excellent solution to this mess. Instead of having to catch her up to apply a cleaning solution then smearing a medicated gel in her eye daily I simply attach this break-away collar on her neck and the flies leave her alone. Her infection clears up and there's no more infection.

It seems to work some. Definitely better than fly spray alone. I still use some spray, but this Definitely helps cut down on the spray. I actually bought it twice and gave a couple as gifts to friends.

It does keep the flies off the head and face, but it hasn't had any effect on the rest of the body. I doubt I will buy it again.

He has been wearing it for about 2 weeks. I have seen no flies on him. It came off, we dont know how, but we found it, put it back on, (no damage) and is on him day and night. I am happy as he hates and gets frantic when I try to spray him, this was great!.

I honestly thought that this wouldn't work. I was willing to give it a shot because my horse HATES being sprayed and the flies are horrible this year. So glad that I was wrong. His face and neck stay fly free. The collar has worked. Mr. Horse is very happy with his fly collar.

I am new to the East Tennessee area from California. We had flys there but not the Nats, bees, wasps, Horse flys ( nasty buggers). I was trying to find a product that lasted more than a couple of hours without multiple applications. Fly masks they remove faster than you can put them on, fly spray bugs drink it (some of the broodmares are a bit Farrel), spot on doesn't seem to be very effective, swat somewhat effective, but concerned about their eyes. The herbal collars seem to work ok.

They smell great but should have a better fastener. My horses are notorious for getting things off, like fly masks etc. The collars were off by the next morning.

I had to try this after seeing the reviews. Unfortunately, it didn’t work that well here. The flies were actually landing on the collar, along with all over the horses face/ eyes. Great idea but didn’t work for me. Love the smell though
