I like these socks very much, the material is soft and warm, and the thickness is perfect if your boots or shoes are not very tight on you. They go all the way up to my knee, which is what I wanted. I ordered the 8 1/2 to 10 size, and I'm glad I did. I normally wear a size 8 shoe, but the smaller size might have been too tight. I still might not put them in the dryer.

These socks are very soft, padded on the sole and plenty of room. I have thicker calves and wear size 8 1/2 shoes and these socks are form fitting, but not tight.
