The comfortable chinstrap features a quick- release easy-adjust Velcro closure and the IRG4's moisture wicking removable liner is machine washable. ASTM F1163-15.

    It is necessary that protective straps be securely
    fastened while the headgear is worn. Some headgear
    are designed to absorb the shock of a blow by partial
    destruction of the headgear. Though damage may not be
    visible to the naked eye, if it suffers such an impact,
    it should be replaced.
