I haven’t ridden in over 15 years and went on an hour long trail ride in this saddle and was expecting to be hurting when I was done, but to my surprise I wasn’t! I’m not little and ordered a 17inch saddle and it worked great for me. Downfall is it was shifting on my horse a lot so not sure if it’s because of my horse that doesn’t have a lot of withers or the saddle/ nylon straps that stretched a lot during the ride.
