Nice looking reins

These reins look very nice but were very hard and stiff out of the packaging. I oiled them and worked them with my hands for a while to get them softer. The dye from the reins came off on my rag and hands while oiling so be careful to not dye your clothes or light colored horse. The leather was also too wide to use with the standard scissor snaps I purchased to go with them. They are too short for my long necked gelding but work well for my shorter mare. Overall I think they will work and look nice. Just takes some breaking in and effort.
