Bought these curtains to block the Florida sun off my west facing stalls. I have a 10 ft overhang in front of my stalls but the western sun hits them in the late afternoon. These curtains fit the space and have a pocket to slide a pole to hang on top but none on the bottom to secure the bottom of the panels. So when the wind blows the three individual panels flap in the wind letting in rain and not stopping the sun. So I will have to sew a pocket into the bottom of each panel and tie the pole down so the panels will not blow. So a slot needs to been sewn into each panel on the bottom to keep them down. It is a manufacturing flaw. They put a pocket on top to hang but need one at the bottom too.

I decided to try these to help minimize inside barn flys and also to see if they hopefully cut down on dust in my barn. Too early to say on dust. But I havent heard the foot stamping during feeding time so I really do think they are helping keep the flys out. Very few flies stuck on my fly strips too.

These are great and at a really reasonable price. I had them before they were for sale as "horse curtains". I got the fabric and made them myself. More expensive and a lot of work. Put them up by putting them under a board and nailing it up (didn't even think of hanging them like you do which is great). So I can't take them down. They are in my barn at both ends of the aisle and both sides of the "run in" shed up by the house. Keeps flies out, keeps cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Doesn't let rain in and you can see through them. Which comes in handy for me since we have cougars and bears around here and the barn is down the hill from the house and sometimes I "do" the barn after dark. I can still see outside. Chicks Saddlery is the best "horse store" I've ever found. Your prices are great and your merchandise is first rate. If I need help, you're always there to answer any of my questions. And, when I lived in California I worked at Broken Horn in Los Angeles before they had their new "big" store in LA. Thanks for being here for me. I don't get any of my horse/donkey/dog products except for Chicks Saddlery. Thanks to you and all your staff for being so good. Kathryn Starnes and Tanna, my Arab mare, Maeyann, my border collie and my three kitties (for sweaters and harnesses - one walks on a leash with me and Maeyann) and Sarah, my donkey who recently passed away but always got her blankets, etc. from Chicks

I love these! I bought them to hopefully keep the birds out of my barn this spring. They are awful and poop on everything. So far, it’s workingquite well. My horse took a few treats as bribery but quickly adjusted to them once he realized he was going to be fed in his stall and the curtain of certain death wasn’t going to kill him. After a week, it was old news to him. They help keep the stall shavings from blowing around also. I’ve saved some money on shavings I have noticed because they’re not blowing out the other end of my barn. It gets really windy and these help keep a majority of the gusts out. I’m excited to see how it helps in the summer. The only option I saw to select were the “brown” curtain color but they look nearly black. They are not a tanish brown like I had feared when I ordered. Installing was a little tricky. Staples worked for a week or so but were eventually pulled out. We opted to cut a piece of lumber the width of the door and sandwich the curtain between the two wooden pieces to prevent tearing. PVC would work well too but I worked with what I had on hand. I plan on putting a run-in shed in my lower paddock soon and will definitely be ordering more of these curtains for the shed. Thanks for offering a good product and thank you for running sales to allow me to be able to afford them. They’ve really been an asset to my barn and they look nice too.
