My mare has medical mouth issues so she been in a hackamore for most of her life. I always ride her in a hackamore and thought I would try something different. Some adjusting was needed to fit her properly. Seems like good quality and I love the easy clip on and off. It has pretty good stop power and she backs up right away. Seems to be well made and looks like it will last for awhile. My mare loves this, don't know why I didn't get it sooner. Yes I recommend.
