The popular One K Avance Wide Brim helmet now available with MIPS and CCS! Features a matte Polycarbonate and Advanced ABS Composite outer shell; injection molded shell design; washable quick-dry, moisture wicking liner; stainless steel mesh; comfort padded harness with synthetic suede lining, hook & loop adjustment, and Fastex buckle; two front, one back, and two center stripe vents. MIPS: Founded in 1996 by a neurosurgeon and a researcher from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, the Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) is designed to add protection against rotational motion transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. Rotational motion is a combination of rotational energy and rotational forces from angular acceleration that both increase the risk for brain injuries. Helmet Shape Regular/Round – Is shaped for a head which has almost identical front-to-back and side-to-side measurements. Long Oval – Is shaped for a head which is longer front-to-back (from forehead to the back of the skull) than it is side-to-side (ear to ear).

ASTM Standard #F1163 and is certified by the Safety
Equipment Institute, but Chick's makes no warranty or
representation as to the accuracy of the manufacturer's
claim, nor do we warrant or represent that these
standards are accurate or reliable. We have not
designed, tested, or manufactured this headgear and
disclaim any and all warranties and representations
with regard to the extent, if any, to which it will
protect the wearer against injury as a result of impact.
It is necessary that protective straps be securely
fastened while the headgear is worn. Some headgear
are designed to absorb the shock of a blow by partial
destruction of the headgear. Though damage may not be
visible to the naked eye, if it suffers such an impact,
it should be replaced.
