These are great boot socks. They are very light weight, so wearing them in summer is no problems. They are pretty, too! I probably won't use them in winter, unless I am using my winter riding boots because they are so light.

I received a pair of Ovation sheer Zocks as a gift. I live in Florida and man it's hot and humid here! I continuously experience heat rash on my ankles despite trying several dozen types of socks! After wearing the sheer Zocks my world turned around. NO heat rash...even on a hot summer day! They do extend to just below the knee and I wear short Ariat Terrain lace up boots. I have been rash free! Absolutely love the new paisley pair I just ordered. Highly recommended!
