Mare wearing them to protect shoes in front. These are thin and easy to get on however she was able to reach down and tear them off with her teeth.

The rubber is not thick, but so far they have stayed on even for turnout in a lot of mud. I'm sure they will need to be replaced eventually, but don't all bell boots?
