This bit helps lift and stabilize horses that have a tendency to drop their shoulders. Tightening the curb will increase the leverage for both shoulder lift and rate. Mullen mouth. This is a great bit to have in the tack room because it helps keep a naturally bendy horse from bending too much at the neck, giving you more control of the rib cage. This helps to keep the shoulder up and stabilized for the turns. The shorter shank gives a moderate amount of "Whoa", while the slight gag action gives a quick response to help position your horse how you need them. It is a great choice for the intermediate to the advanced level horse and can be used for both practice and competition.
