I have used the shires feed balls for my minis on dry lot for years. The first one I bought finally gave out, so I decided to give this brand a try. Seems sturdy and it works just as it should. In comparison to shires, the hole is smaller, so without a funnel, it’s more difficult to put feed in. However it also dispenses less at a time, so that’s more of a plus I think.

When it is pouring out and I want to keep the boys in, this is just the thing to keep them busy. They all have a different way of playing with it, but they all look forward to their cookie ball. These are rugged balled that take a ton of abuse from some. I keep a spare around for my little man because he just abuses his terribly. Lol When it gets too dented to roll, I replace it. About one a year.

I purchased this ball for a horse that is easily bored, I put a little feed and alfalfa cubes inside and it entertains him for quite a while!

I just got 2 wild mustangs and they absolutely love playing with this. It helps with boredom since they have to stay in their paddock until they are handled. I have a video of them playing with it and laugh every time I watch it.

My horses love their busy ball! I had to by two, one for each pony. I shake it and they come running. My neighbor told me about these balls. Her horses also love them.
