I have a flat footed Appaloosa gelding who is about 19 years old and just went into shoes on his front about 9 months ago. He is a forward mover and as he gets older, his hoofs are starting to show it. We put these ARMA overreach boots with the trim on him and it has definitely made his front feet much more safe and protected. He wears them 24/7 and one pair lasted 6 months before he blew out the velcro on one. He definitely needs them and they are a hoof saver! Well worth spending this small amount to save injury, pain, healing supplies and a bigger vet bill!

1 piece velcro design is easy to use, so much better and stronger than any other double straps I've tried. My mare ruins bell boots every few weeks, have not had any issue with these. Wish Chicks also had the non fleece version - would buy again, more colors please!!!!

I’ve been using these for a few week now and there’s not a tear to be seen! i was skeptical at first because the price was so low, but my horse hasn’t clipped her heel since! The fleece helps prevent rubbing and the velcro is super strong. they do move around some, but i believe that’s because my horse has skinny legs.
