i got this item for my OTTB who has arthritis and an equine chiropractor recommended i get one. well, it arrived and and now i use it more than any of my other grooming tools. I often take i tout in the pasture and use the curry side to scrub away the mud from both my horses coats, and this thing has been AMAZING for removing their shedding winter coats. i use the massage side after rides around their toplines, chest, and girth areas, and it seems to help with sore muscles and stiffness. thanks you, Chicks for this great tool at a wonderfull price! my only complaint would be that some of the roller balls are rather stiff in their little holes, and they get easily gummed up with dirt and hair.
