The sister to the TuffRider Carbon Fiber Print helmet that was ranked #2 Overall during the Virginia Tech helmet study, the Starter Helmet with Carbon Fiber grill offers an ABS outer shell that provides strength and protection against possible impacts. The ABS shell also helps to distribute and absorb the force of impact during a fall, in turn reducing the risk of injury. The high quality EPS inner layer adds extra protection by reducing the amount of energy transferred to a rider's head during an impact. Three strategically placed carbon fiber looking ventilation openings will keep you comfortable and dry while the washable Coolmax liner wicks away the sweat. The adjustable padded chin strap paired with the comfortable nylon reinforced harness creates a safe, snug fit.

It is necessary that protective straps be securely
fastened while the headgear is worn. Some headgear
are designed to absorb the shock of a blow by partial
destruction of the headgear. Though damage may not be
visible to the naked eye, if it suffers such an impact,
it should be replaced.
