Product Details

Super Slow Feed Hay Bag!

Ultra Slow Feed Hay Net features a large capacity net that can hold 4 or more average flakes of hay. It has 1" holes to slow down your horse's feeding, which relieves boredom, reduces mess, and keeps hay up off the ground where it can be contaminated with dirt/debris/sand/etc.

Great for keeping your horse busy during the day, if he is on stall rest, while you are traveling, or away at shows.

NOTE: Drawstring cord will vary in color from that pictured.

Measures approximately 40" x 40" (when stretched).

I bought several of these ultra slow feeder hay nets for my horse while he’s on stall rest with an injury, and they are holding up very well. Both the net and rope are strong materials and have not ripped or torn at all. My horse doesn’t get frustrated with the 1 inch holes, but it does keep him occupied for longer periods of time and he wastes less hay. I would definitely buy these again!

The net and the hanger are both made of the same strong materials. I have had to replace the flimsy hangers on other hay nets I have purchased in the past. This net slows down a horse that eats way too fast for his age!

I have used various slow feed hay nets (some quite expensive) for my insulin resistant mare for 8 years. These are definitely my favorite. I've had these for a couple of months and so far she has not torn a hole in either, yet they are not harsh on her muzzle. Easy to fill, slow to empty. I plan to buy more in other colors for ease of giving instructions when others feed for me (red for morn, black for bedtime, etc).

Just what i needed. The nets seem well made and the holes are small but not impossible. The real test will be how long they last with my eager eaters. These are expensive so I hope the extra cost equals longevity....we will see. I stuff the bags with lots of hay to keep the kids happy thru the long dark winter nites...

This is the 3rd time I have purchased these nets. For me, they last about a year but are well worth it. The holes are small enough the horses really have to work to get their food, which means, it last longer with very little, if any waste.

This is my third order in 2 years. Still using all the nets, just keep getting more for more horses. Color coded for one horse - all yellow. It takes my horse about 1.5 to 2 hours to eat a feeding of hay in the hay bin. It takes her 3-4 hours to eat from the net, and she isn't frustrated. She actually leaves and comes back later. Maybe she's tired from pulling it out of the net, but it's all good.

So helpful for my insulin resitant horse. It took her 1/2 hour to eat her hay with 2 inch holes. Now it takes about 3 hours. Her first bag lasted 6 month before she created a hole. So she is on her second while I repair the first.

Love these nets, have purchased 5 over the past 3 years and still have them all. A few have small holes from my boys teeth but not bad and they are 3 years old...... Holes are true 1 inch to keep my guys eating all day/night which is impt to protect delicate tummys!! Excellent product.

This Haynes is exactly what I expected. I have an overweight ulcer prone horse so she has to have roughage in front of her at all times. This net allows me to feed less and still have some food in front of her especially overnight.

I have had this net for over a week and have horses that are very hard on their nets. This one has held up nicely and is very roomy. Keeps my horses eating the appropriate amount of hay all day and night with little waste.
