The Therapy-Tec Gel Ice Boots is formed in 24 sperate pockets and contours around the limb ensuring maximum comfort and surface contact with tendons and joints. Perfect Fit: The specialized crystals swell within the quilted fabric, creating a soft, feel pad that molds perfectly to your horse's leg, ensuring maximum comfort and coverage. The gel is designed to stay cold for a lengthy amount of time to allow for an appropriate treatment period.
For regular use of the ice boots for short periods (20-30mins) after intense exercise for preventative purposes to ensure ligaments, tendons and joints remain tight. Reducing temperature of the tendons soon after exercise reduces inflammation, promotes healing and effectively prevents injuries. These boots cover a vast surface area. Place into the freezer prior to use and keep them frozen while at competitions so they are ready for use. Do not wet the boots.
