Use 2-3 ounces in a bucket, wash entire horse as normal. Leave shampoo on 2-3 minutes before rinsing. Then go to any areas that need additional treatment, put shampoo on wet sponge and apply over those areas and leave on for 5-7 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly.
