Freedom To Move!

  • 1200D polyester rip-stop outer is breathable, PU-coated and waterproof.
  • Premium fleece at withers.
  • High tensile strength adjustable polypropylene surcingles.
  • Removable and adjustable nylon leg straps and removable plastic-coated tail cord.

Made from 1200 denier polyester, the sheet is lightweight, waterproof, and breathable, making it a good choice for warmer climates, rainy spring days, or as a top layer. A smooth lining protects the coat, while a tail flap and Equinavia horse head reflective logos add extra protection and visibility. The ripstop outer, quality surcingles, and stain-less hardware provide strength and extended life. An extended shoulder gusset, adjustable neck, fleece at the withers, and elasticized leg straps ensure comfort and freedom of movement.

I first bought an Equinavia 600D turnout sheet in a 75" but it is a smidge too small for my gelding, who is 15.2hh at 3yo and still growing. I ordered the 1200D in a 78" which is too big for him, but I have hope that he will grow into it as he matures. As for the sheet itself, I haven't used the 1200D yet, but I've used the 600D multiple times and it's held up great! Keeps my gelding clean and dry in the rain and holds up nicely to his shenanigans. I'm confident the 1200D will be even better, since it has a higher denier rating. For now, I'll be using the 75" as a rain sheet and the 78" with a 200g liner if needed. Other random things I like about these sheets: reflective accents, adjustable neck strap (for the 1200D), and tail cords with plastic tubes. For size reference: I have a 3yo Mustang that measures to 15.2hh and string tests to 16-16.1hh; he is on the thicker side, I suspect with some draft influence. The 75" fits him nicely, but it is a smidge too short (the tail flap doesn't cover his entire booty), but it fits him well enough that I'll be able to use it this winter. The 78" was definitely big on him, but I was able to adjust it with the neck straps to sit a little better on him; it'll be my backup sheet for now, until he grows into it. Long story short: I definitely recommend Equinavia sheets/blankets!

Measuring For a Horse
Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest
around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
