Waterproof And Breathable!
This 1200 denier midweight turnout is just what you need in most winter climates. It features waterproof and breathable 1200 denier outer shell, 210 Nylon lining, and 200 grams of Polyfil for warmth. It has wither fleece, shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, adjustable neck for a perfect fit, low cross surcingles, double buckle front with quick clips, tail flap, and adjustable leg straps that help keep the blanket down and in place.

I love Rugged Ride sheets and blankets for quality and value. When they go on sale, I buy for the coming fall and winter and then donate my current sheet and blanket to the local rescue down the street. That way Winston gets a fun new sheet and a new blanket every year, and the rescue down the road benefits from last years wardrobe haha.

Nice blanket. I bought it for my quarter horse mare but it was too tight across her chest and didn't fit her. However, it fit my thoroughbred mare who has a different build. I'll have to buy something different for the quarter horse.

Durable and good quality. But does run a little small. My 1300# quarter horse usually wears a size 80. Ordered an 81 and is still short. On last adjustment and it’s snug but acceptable.

I bought this for for my Senior QH for when that nasty winter weather hits. He's a pasture horse all year-round, and because he's aging, I want to have a blanket nearby when needed. I went with a size 78. We did a try-on and adjusted the straps to his size - the fit is perfect, and he seems very comfortable in it.

I have an American White Draft that is very broad. This blanket fits over her ribs with length to spare. I had ordered this in a different size for a different horse and had to return because it was too small. This mare normally takes an 81 so I ordered an 87 and it fits perfectly.

Purchased one for my horses, the red / crimson color. Very vibrant. Also thick enough to throw on when it gets really cold overnight, but not cold enough for the heavy blanket. My only con is that the neck opening is tight for my broad necked girl, but that's not the end of the world. Highly recommend!

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.
Measure from the center of your horse's chest
around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
tape.
This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
