This 600 denier turnout is just what you need to protect your horse from those cold winter months. It features waterproof and breathable 600 denier outer shell, 210 Nylon lining, 300 grams of fill for warmth, and has wither fleece, shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, adjustable neck for a perfect fit, low cross surcingles, double buckle front with quick clips for easier blanketing, tail flap, and adjustable leg straps that help keep it down and in place.

The horses love these as do I. Not extremely heavy, so it dosen't cause sweating, but keeping them warm even in teens and keeping rain and mud off of their coats. So far these have been EXCELLENT value for the dollar. Waiting on another 2, ordered 6 in total.

Even though I notice the price has gone down since I bought mine, I'm glad I bought it when I did. My senior guy has been wearing a blanket ever since I noticed him shivering when he came in the barn to eat one night when the temps first started to drop this year. They have done nothing but go down ever since, and I felt like that blanket wasn't going to be warm enough when things got really cold. So I bought this blanket for him. We had a seriously BRUTAL weekend this weekend weather-wise, and he has stayed pretty warm through it all with his new blanket. I think he approves!

I luv this blanket and am pretty impressed with this Brand. I normally use Tough 1 but i have found the Rugged Ride is very comparable in price and product to the Tough 1. This is my third Rugged Ride blanket that i have purchased and my horse is very warm and comfortable in this new blanket. The adjustable neck allows me to get the right fit over the shoulders for my horse where the blanket is not causing rub marks.

This heavyweight blanket is warm and adjustable. Its fill is lightweight, so the blanket is easy to put on and take off. I like the adjustable neck, but wish it had Ds to attach a neck cover. I've had to add those in order to use a neck cover with this blanket.

I bought this for my rescue donkey. I didn't think he would let me put it on him but he did! the quick snaps made it easy to secure as he fidgeted. This blanket is true to size, so if your pony is 62, order the 56-62 size etc. I was so used to the blankets being bigger than what they are labeled I ordered down a size so had to return it. I ordered a different heavier blanket to replace this too small one so I can't comment to how well it wears.

around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
tape.
