My 36 year old mini was feeling the chill for the first winter this year so I hustled to get him help. This fits very well and isn't too heavy or hot for him, just enough since he is a hairy mess already! The only trouble I had was the snaps on the leg straps. Even before I got it on him for the first time, one had broken, just fell apart. A few days later, the second one did the same thing. Theses snaps are just made of cheap materials and don't hold up to anything. I mean, Jerry is 36 and can barely walk so if they can't pass his test..... Chicks was SO gracious when I emailed after the first failure! They sent a replacement set of leg straps! Thank goodness they come in a pair because the second one blew out shortly after I emailed. I am impressed with Chicks for their help. But I do feel that these snaps are poor quality and the ones on the replacement straps are the same type so I will be facing this issue again. Thanks to Chicks though!

I really want to like this blanket but within 48 hours my little donkey ribbed the belt off. When I thought about it however, I was glad it ripped and not her. But the way the front is designed, it gives you plenty of options for fitting but if you have even a bit cinched, the extra hangs down. There is a strap that is designed to hold the excess but it never stays put. She always looks so bedraggled. When it warms a little, I am going to add some velcro to keep it in place. Everything else is nice about the blanket and most importantly, it keeps her warm.
