Nice fitting 200 gram fill blanket

I picked this blanket for my 25-yr old thoughbred/quarter horse cross mare, and it fits her great, as she is more of a thoughbred build. I will mention that I feel that the front panel on this blanket is on the smaller side so if your horse is fairly wide chested then I wouldn't pick this one. I will say that I love the length of this blanket, as I live in a very windy and cold location, and I like the blankets to go down farther on their legs to keep their legs and belly covered from the elements. The tail flap has fantastic coverage and will also keep the elements out. All the straps and hooks worked great. I also picked this blanket because it has clips/snaps on the front because I shouldn't have to remove my gloves to work with a blanket. BRRRR. Another great feature of this blanket is that it comes with leg straps as well as the strap that goes under the tail. I do not use the tail strap but will say that it was nicely made with a plastic tube over the strap to help it be easier to clean, the downfall I could think of for this is that it was very stiff especially in the cold so not as flexible to move in as the leg straps, in my opinion, the hooks were also made of plastic for this so might not last long if your horse likes to play rough with their blanket.

Love the blanket. Easy to put on with the chest clips and fits my mare well. Very happy with the purchase.

Measuring For a Horse
Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest
around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
