Rugged Ride blankets are a go-to for my horses. Highly recommend this line - the quality is amazing and these blankets are beautiful (color and design). I have a couple of the teal color and also the red. The denier is sturdy, and so are the clips and straps which have held up to all of my horses' shenanigans. Everything adjusts easily to get the best fit possible and also like that the tail flaps are bit longer versus super short. These are great for mild weather adding a layer of warmth and are a great wind break on those cold windy days. I use these and then move up to the heavyweight blankets when needed (also Rugged Ride). I really like this brand - the line of product options and features including multiple weight/fill options and the wide selection of colors/patterns.

Measuring For a Horse
Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest
around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring
tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
