What a great blanket! I love that you can snug up the neck and make it a one-of-a-kind for each individual horse. The blanket had no rips/tears after several weeks of use with two very active geldings that play quite rough and no issues with displacement when they were rolling outside either. Straps for belly and hind legs are thick and don't chafe or rub. They also wash up well in my washer here at home (one at a time) where I used a blanket wash specific to horse blankets. Left to air dry overnight and packed up well for next season. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. Of note, I did purchase on a huge discount for the first with the second blanket 50% off that price.

Measuring For a Horse Blanket

Have your horse stand still (if possible!) on flat, level ground.

Measure from the center of your horse's chest around the shoulder at the widest part, to the center of the tail. This measurement is easiest to obtain with a soft fabric measuring tape.

This measurement - in inches - is your blanket size.
