Rugged Ride Airflow Cool Mesh Fly Boots - Set of Four

These fly boots are beautiful and appear to be well-made, with nice fleece padding, but they do not stay up. They are also made of two layers of fabric that give the impression of neoprene. I think they are probably quite hot on the horse's legs in the heat of summer. I sent mine back.

The first day I had the boots on my horses , when I went to take them off the Velcro pulled away from the seams. I could not believe it. And one of the back boots got caught on a horse shoe and got torn. Very disappointed.

i love the material and durability of them and the cob fits my arabian, the horse fits my OTTB. the colors are also super nice

These are working great! The flies have been horrible this year. I’ve never bought any fly boots before but I am glad I chose these. They work well, they stay up, they are easy to put in and take off. Just buy them.

These are made with great stitching, dual layers preventing the flies from being able to bite, Velcro is strong but you can still take them off one handed, and the back has a firm spine to keep them upright.

I've used these several weeks now and am impressed with how well they stay on and don't twist or fall down. I adjust the fit so it is fairly snug and it feels like there is a bit of stretch in them...but I'm not sure. They never leave any signs of rubbing or being too tight. Very easy to adjust. Took me a minute to figure out that there is a right and a left, which only matters if you want the velcro fasteners on the outside of the leg. My horses love them and stand like statues while I put them on in the morning...they know that their "socks" keep the flies away. When they look dirty, I just use a hose on the Jet setting and quickly wash them off and they are dry in a couple of hours at most. I measured both horses as instructed and bought the Cob size since they were on the border. The larger size would have been too long. Can't beat the price for a set of 4. I'm buying 2 more sets today.

I bought 2 sets of these! (I love the bright colors!) But unfortunately, they didn't work for either of my horses (one is 10 yrs old, the other is 27 yrs old)... neither of them stayed up/put on my horses. My younger horse was able to take them off himself when they would start to slip/slide down.

Quality seems good. Waiting to see how well they hold up. My girl is pretty settled and doesn't destroy stuff so I'm hoping they last awhile. Her pasture is next to cow pasture so there is always alot of flys bugging her. The socks match her fly mask too.

These work fantastic for keeping flies off. Look good, stay on until I remove them. The last 2 seasons, which in my case is 9 months of wear.

I use these on my OTTB filly....she is 4 and loves to frolic around in the pasture. They Velcro stays affixed and when the product is new, can be hard to remove....but they get broken in and all is well. They stay up on her legs, sometimes they turn around on her legs a bit, but that is ok too. I would buy them again...I actually have 2 sets of 4 ...in case I wash a set, I still have one to use.

I bought these and compared to another brand I once bought, these a great. East to put on, Velcro works great even with active horses and they do their job, protection. Love these and you get 4 for the price.
