Rip Resistant Fly Protection!
Exclusively Chick's! This fly mask features a colored durable rip resistant mesh to keep the peskiest insects out, durable mesh ears for those horses that are bothered by insects, a forelock opening, and a wide velcro closure for fit and security and a soft colored binding around the edges. Masks also protect your horse's eyes from debris and do not impair vision. Many bright colors to choose from that will make it easy to spot your horse in the pasture!
Opening at the poll allows the forelock to remain free for comfort and reduces rubbing.

First off, I love the colors! Everything fits, got a cob and an extra large, and I’m hopeful they will hold up to gelding shenanigans. The price was excellent and if they do make it through the season, I’ll be buying more.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this fly mask, especially for the price point. The colors are very bright and easy to spot when my horse loses it in the pasture, too. Only giving it 4 stars because the berry-burgundy color I picked was more of a baby pink when it arrived in person.

Very well made but they all run a bit big. The mini fly mask had to be taken up several inches. The horse size is more like a large horse size. If you order just size down. But they are much to big for my minis.

Ordered a couple of these with the forelock hole as they were out of the regular Rugged Ride masks with ears in the Horse/Cob sizes. Horse size fits my 16.2H gelding and the Cob size fits our broodmares and 2 year olds (Pony size fits yearlings). One of our mares has a LOT of forelock so it was nice to be able to pull that through the forelock hole for her! This is the same type of mesh as the other Rugged Ride Bright & Bold masks and I've found them to hold up pretty well, even with a lot of young horses (2 yr old & younger).

The color is BEAUTIFUL. I got 1 of these kind of fly masks in raspberry and the color is spot on. I did buy 3 other ones of the same brand but with the nose cover and the light blue does not match the picture. It is more of a periwinkle.

That's basically the only reason why it doesn't have five stars My two horses are absolute pigs and managed to rip and destroy their fly masks within days of having them sometimes and this one has lasted *knocks on wood* for a month! My gelding has wallowed in the mud with it He has managed to slip it off but that is just kind of because it's a little on the big side for him. And it's still nice and sturdy!
