Premium Quality 4-Way Stretch Lycra!

Protect your horse's mane with this stretchy lycra mane tamer hood. Simply brush the mane to one side and put on the mane tamer. Protect the bands and braids you worked so hard on for the show!

Made from nylon, lycra, and spandex, it helps to train the mane, keep mane and forelock clean, smooths the body hair, and works great as a liner under heavier garments. Prevents rubbing and keeps hair smooth and slick when blanketing.

Extra large eye holes for a great fit. It features adjustable Velcro fittings at the muzzle, heavy duty 3/4 zipper, and between front legs chest strap that attaches to the belly surcingle for extra stability and reduced rubbing. Excellent fitting slinky!

Machine wash cold - Tumble dry low.

I have a pink skinned horse with skin allergies! This is generously sized and is protecting his skin & is holding up to his rubbing better than other brands I've tried. My horse is between horse & XL size, so I got the XL. I did have to take in the area between the eye openings a bit & I did fabric glue the very end of the zipper run together (to keep the zipper from leaving the track when I took it off)

100% effective in making him look ridiculous. We bought this to put on over a lycra fly mask since he's prone to pulling them off. Works like a charm. He seems comfortable in it.
