Shires Fine Mesh Fly Mask With Nose Fringe and Air Stream Ears

This flymask does a great job of protecting my horses eyes. She often has discharge—sometimes matter in the corners of her eyes, sometimes a little weepy. This mask has made a big improvement, cutting down on the discharge. I like that it also protects her ears and nose. I have used masks with mesh on the nose, but the mesh becomes clogged quickly and began to actually attract flies to the build-up. The fringe does not clog; it does get dingy-looking but without clumping. So it continues to protect from flies. I downgraded one star because I wish it had a forelock hole. The mask kinks the forelock, and it is always tangled when I remove the mask.
