Shires Fine Mesh Fly Mask With Nose Fringe and Air Stream Ears. A full face mesh fly mask complete with air stream fabric on the ears provides flexible protection against flies. Complete with fleece padding along the seams. Ergonomic shaping and fleece padding along the seams keeps the fly mask away from the eyes and reduces gaps. The addition of the fly fringe that moves with the horse helps deter flies from the muzzle area. Adjustable touch close safety straps allow for a snug fit. Hand wash cool - Line dry.

The Shires fly mask with ears and nose fringe works the best for my horses. The fly mask with the nose piece that is made with the mesh gets dirty quickly with the nose blowing through the mesh nose piece, and thus limits the amount of air coming into the nostrils. The fringe keeps the flies off the nose, and at the same time lets air flow freely.

Both of my horses love these masks, and they rarely get rubbed off. I will not buy another fly mask out there- the tassles on the nose help so much. And it does feel like they last a lot longer than other masks (I have had 2 sets of these for the last 5 years!) Some small holes developing on the older set I have, but I can still use them.

My horse loves this fly mask! He usually rips fly masks very quickly. This has now lasted weeks without being destroyed! The turquoise color is very pretty! Additionally, I really loved the fleece strip on the inside to prevent rubs, etc.

I purchased a large and oversized for both my horses and both are way to big and do not stay on. I used the recommendations they provided and they are off about 2 sizes.
