Rugged Ride Bright & Bold Rip Resistant Mesh Fly Mask - Forelock Hole - No Ears

It's stayed on for over a week already so I call that a win!

I gave up on fly masks over 15 years ago because they were $20 back then when I was on a tight budget, they never fit that great, only available in black or tan, and they always came off within a day or so. When I did find a mask in the pasture, it was covered with burrs and not useable again without scraping my horse's face, which meant they didn't want to wear it and hated putting it on. These Rugged masks are not too stiff, they fit snugly, and my horses stand waiting for me to put them on in the morning. I did lose one the first time I put it on, but bought two for each horse just in case & second one has stayed for weeks (take off at night). The bright color also lets me know from a distance the mask is still on. There's nothing for burrs to get stuck on. When the prickly weeds die off, and I can look I'm sure the bright color will help me find the lost mask. It also lets me easily & quickly pick up the right mask for each horse, as they have their own color scheme. My little 13h3" mustang has a tiny head that's hard to fit, but the cobb/small horse actually fits him and stays on great. Many products marked that way are still too big. Also, for the price, you can afford to buy multiple per horse. I'm buying a couple more just to have them on hand.

I ordered the mask for my horse to protect his eyes. It is well made and fit great. The orange color helps me locate it when he manages to get it off in the field.

This fly mask has been on for about 2 weeks now, and is holding up great. Flies are already out here in CA, I think it’s going to be a bad year for flys. The color is more of a medium pink, rather than a raspberry color. But it is a pretty color. I also ordered a blue mask, a light blue mask, and a grey mask. The light blue was more of a “country blue” color, but it is nice. The blue fly mask looks like the color on the website. The gray mask is lighter gray, but it is a nice color.

The mesh and stitching on these masks holds up very well. I give it 4 stars because the Velcro closure does last as long as other brands I have used .

Best fly mask especially for the price. My horse rips almost every fly mask off easily but this one lasted!

Have had several fly masks, but this one is rugged and actually stays on in the pasture. I have it on 5 horses and 1 donkey, and the donkey is the only one that got his off after 5 days. He rolls a lot. When I found it, one of the velcro straps was completely ripped right off. Since there are 2 straps, it is still usable. All of the horse's masks are still on and no rips in theirs. Love these bright colors making them easy to see in the pasture if they do get them off. You can't beat the price for this quality of mask!

Got the Cob size for my blocky headed Gypsy/Haflinger cross ponies, good fit, have not come off and forelock hole is great for keeping hair from getting matted under a mask. 👍🏻👍🏻

We love these masks, they are fantastic for our rough and tumble donkey geldings. Every other mask we have tried is dead in a day to a couple of weeks, these really hold up. Plus the bright colors make them easy to find when they do get pulled off. Our large standard donkey (13 hh) wears the small horse/cob and it fits great. The smaller standards (11hh) wear the pony size, also a great fit. My only complaint is the pony size in the new design with the forelock hole has quite small ear openings, much smaller then the pony size in the old design. Too small for a stocky donkey, just ok for a fine boned donkey. Please make the ear opening larger on the pony size to fit our long eared friends!

Fits great & looks good. Love the colors. I fit it looser so I can slip it on/off the head easier. Horses seem to like them fine & don’t pull them off. Can’t beat the price!!!

This fly mask is very durable & is made well. The trim is not too scratchy & the color is gorgeous! (I got the raspberry). Well worth the promotional price.

Great fit, a design to fit every need. I get the long nose for my pink skinned gelding, a cob size for a tiny TB head, and bright colors all around to stand out in the pasture. But these don't come off, and they last! The mess is thick and durable. So different from the others, in the best way!

love the bright hot pink color of this fly mask! it really stands out in the pasture. sizing was perfect, just started using it but it appears to be made well and should stand up to our little mustang girl. Thanks Chicks for great products at reasonable prices

I've been using this mask and loving it BUT they added the forelock hole which seemed great but they use the soft fuzzy material for it which is not great for my area. I wish they'd make it with still the same material they line the outside with. Otherwise this is a wonderful mask it holds up very well.

It fits well, I love the forelock opening, and my horse can’t rip it or pull it off. But she can’t see very well with it on.
